Due dates for competency tests, tests over Pies and the Final.

NOTE:  Dates may be changed due to unforeseen circumstances.

  • Be sure you read through ALL the requirements for AND information about the course.
  • Note when exams are due.
  • Inform me which Testing Lab you are using, or if you are using a Proctor

I plan to move everyone into Pie 2. 
Pie 2 = Pie 1 + additional objectives.  Plan to complete Pie 2 one or before June 24.

Jun 3-Jun10 Work in ALEKS: Prealgebra (Pie 1/Pie 2) Send Exams to your designated Testing Lab or Proctor
Jun 11-17

Work in ALEKS: Prealgebra (Pie 1/Pie 2)

 
Jun 18-24 Exam 1 due postmarked on or before June 24
Integer Competency Test, Fractions Competency Test, and Decimals Competency Test postmarked
on or before June 24.
 
Jun 25-Jul 1 On Monday I will move everyone who has not completed Pie 2 into Pie 3
Pie 3 = Pie 1 + Pie 2 + plus new objectives. 
Work in ALEKS: Prealgebra (Pie 3)
 
Jul 2 - 8 Work on Prealgebra 3 (Pie 3) 
If you did not pass a Competency Test, then take Make-up Test 1 for that area on or before July 8 You may need to retake all three areas.  If you passed all of the Competency Tests, congratulations, you have successfully completed that part of this course.
Return Test 1
Jul 9-15 EXAM 2 due postmarked on or before July 15
If you did not pass the Integers, Fractions and/or Decimals Competency Tests , take the appropriate Make-up Test 2 on or before July 15 If you passed all of the Competency Tests, congratulations, you have successfully completed that part of this course.
 
Jul 16-22 On Monday I will move everyone who has not completed Pie 3 into Pie 4
Pie 4 = Pie 1 + Pie 2 + Pie 3 + new objectives. 
Work in ALEKS: Prealgebra (Pie 4)
If you did not pass the Integers, Fractions and/or Decimals Competency Tests , take the appropriate Make-up Test 3 on or before July 22 This will be the "last change" to pass a competency topic.
 
Jul 23-29 Work in ALEKS: Prealgebra (Pie 4)  
July 30-Aug 5 Final Exam due postmarked on or before Aug 3.

Tuesday, August 7, 1:00 pm, will be the final check for ALEKS.  You may continue to work and still receive credit until then.
