Dimensional Analysis Project

Every student is required to complete the Dimensional Analysis Project as part of the MTH 120: Beginning Algebra experience.   The project will count for 5% of the final course grade.   

The project will emphasize:

  • Dimensional analysis, also called Factor-Label Method or the Unit Factor Method, is really about conversion of units

  • Application of mathematical skills that are of particular importance in the health and science fields as well as skills needed for everyday living.
