Many students do not have success in online courses because they do not manage their time wisely.    On average, you should expect to spend about 12 hours online with ALEKS  per week.

May 14-21 Getting organized. 
  • Be sure you read through ALL the requirements for AND information about the course.
  • Note when tests are due.
  • Inform me which Testing Lab you are using, or if you are using a Proctor

I plan to move everyone into Pie 2. 
Pie 2 = Pie 1 + additional objectives.  Plan to complete Pie 2 one or before June 24.

 
May 21-27 Work in ALEKS (Pie 1/Pie 2)  
May 28-Jun 3 Work in ALEKS (Pie 1/Pie 2)  
Jun 3-Jun10 Work in ALEKS (Pie 1/Pie 2) Send Exams to your designated Testing Lab or Proctor
Jun 11-17

Work in ALEKS (Pie 1/Pie 2)

 
Jun 18-24 EXAM 1 due postmarked on or before Jun 24   
Jun 25-Jul 1 On Monday I will move everyone who has not completed Pie 2 into Pie 3.  Pie 3 includes all of the objectives from Pie 1 and Pie 2, plus new objectives.  See the course website for how this will be graded.
Work in ALEKS  (Pie 3
 
Jul 2 - 8 Work in ALEKS  (Pie 3  
Jul 9-15 TEST 2 due postmarked on or before July 15  
Jul 16-22 On Monday I will move everyone who has not completed Pie 3 into Pie 4
Pie 4 = Pie 1 + Pie 2 + Pie 3 + new objectives. 
Work in ALEKS (Pie 4)
 
Jul 23-29 Work in ALEKS (Pie 4  
July 30-Aug 5 Final Exam due postmarked on or before Aug 3.

Tuesday, August 7, 1:00 pm, will be the final check for ALEKS.  You may continue to work and still receive credit until then.
