Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know when I am in a new Pie ? One way is to check the gradesheet. If you have received credit for a Pie you are on the next one.  Another way is to look at the number of objectives you are to complete (not the number you have completed). Pie 1 will have 119, Pie 2 will have 159, Pie 3 will have 192, and Pie 4 will have 219.

How do I tell how much time I spent on ALEKS this week? ALEKS only keeps total time. If you click on the options bar at the top of the ALEKS menu you will find it gives you the total time you have spent on ALEKS.

"I put the right answer into ALEKS, but I get an error. What's up with that?" Don't use the BACK button when entering information into ALEKS: it will not read it. You will need to clear the answer and start over if you want to change something.

How do I ask "math questions" in email?  Use the "symbols" found at this site to "talk math."
