Math 140 Semester Homework

 

There are two types of homework that will be assigned for the semester.

 

I.    Suggested Practice Problems - (not part of overall course grade)

          These problems are found in the textbook and  are assigned in the 

          Suggested Practice Problems Table  for the Chapter and Section that you are currently working on. 

          Be sure to check your answers with the back of the book or the solutions manual that you purchased.     

 

             Note:     These problems are for your learning benefit

                     and will not be part of the semester grade.

 

II.    MyMathLab Homework Problems - (part of overall course grade)

 

        These problems are found in the MyMathLab/CourseCompass Program    

         www.mymathlab.com   under the Do Homework Button

 

    

Please refer to the Course Syllabus for instructions for completing the Homework.

 

You will find all of the Homework assignments for the entire semester listed below.

 

 

For all Homework assignments the following procedure should be adhered to:

 

    First, always read the section in the book that corresponds to the homework assignment you are attempting.  

        You should be sure to work through the given examples.

 

    Second, if you feel that you need more instruction for the homework assignment you are

        attempting, refer to the Digital Video Tutor on CD that was packaged with the textbook

        that you purchased as part of your course materials.

       Fourth, do the problems that are assigned in MyMathLab for the Chapter and Section          

            that you are currently working on. 

       

        These problems are found in the MyMathLab/CourseCompass Program    

            www.mymathlab.com under the Do Homework Button

       

        Be sure to check your answers using the MyMathLab program process. 

        Redo the homework problems if necessary. 

        You have unlimited times that you may try the homework problems using MyMathLab. 

 

        Submit your homework to be graded and recorded in the MyMathLab program grade book. 

 

         Note:     The MyMathLab Homework Assignments will count as

                     the homework grade for the semester.
