Educator is the system we use to support online courses. You must login using your user ID (first seven letters of your last name followed by the first seven letters of your first name and your middle initial). Your password is your Social Security number, no spaces or dashes (it is recommended that you change this and record your new password so you do not forget). You will see a screen with your classes. MTH140(DL FL 2007) is Math 140 Precalculus Online. The Educator course site holds some of the class material for Math 140 Precalculus Online. I will be using my personal website for most of the class material for this course. Your first assignment is to simply become familiar with the Educator environment and begin your reading and assignments as outlined in the syllabus. All questions and technical problems related to Educator can be solved by visiting the Distance Learning web site (www.jccmi.edu/Distance Learning/ ) or calling the campus office (796-8604). Be sure to monitor the “Announcements” on a regular basis.
